Create a poster to educate your class about a specific drug. You must include the classification of the drug, its actual name and any known street names, how it affects your body & mind, its level of addictiveness, where it is found, what it looks like, why anyone might want to take it, a list of similar drugs and any other information that you think may be useful. In addition, a creative anti-drug slogan is to be included in your project.

Drug Research Project/Presentation
You will conduct research individually or in small groups to obtain information about a specific drug. Each group will prepare a presentation for the class.

Drugs Presentation
Students will be researching a chosen drug category in small groups (groups of FOUR, with one group of three due to uneven class size), then sharing the collected information about the drug with the class. They will complete a research paper, as well as presentation. The presentation can take any form the students choose (prezi, PowerPoint, etc) and is open to creativity! The research paper and presentation should include the classification; proper name; street names; how it's taken; history; immediate effects; long term effects; medical uses(if any);legal or illegal. Any additional information will be rewarded with extra credit. The group must also present the class with a short 5 question quiz on their drug.

Informative Group Presentation
Group given topics to research for informative presentation. Group has to prepare a 10 minute presentation that has to be presented in front of the class. Presentation could be presented with supplemental visuals. Student teams determine level of formality (may be formal or informal)

Drug and Alcohol Presentation
Students will be researching an assigned drug by themselves, then coming together with others assigned to the same drug, and finally sharing the collected information about the drug to their peers in a small group that knows little to nothing about the drug.
