Friday Forum Research/Position Paper
Student will write a 1-2 page paper discussing both sides of an issue. Students will outline the perspective of both sides. Students must source at least one fact from each side, but preferably 3 or more. Students will conclude paper with which position they take on the topic.

Principles of the Constitution
Students will pair up and choose one of the 6 Principles of the Constitution(Limited Government, Popular Sovereignty, Separation of Powers, Checks and Balances, Federalism and Judicial Review). They will then find an example of the on the National evel and then either a local(Collinwood/Cleveland) example or show how the National example effects the local area. These findings will be presented on posterboard with a title, definition, pictures and or articles to make the connection.
