Newspaper Sports Article Summary
Find a Current sports related article in the local newspaper. Cut out the article from the newspaper. Write a 1 page summary on the article including WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN. The summary should include at least three paragraphs. You should end your summary by writing at least one paragraph giving your personal opinions, thoughts, feelings about the information in the article and how you can relate the article to physical education and exercise. Your summary should be typed or neatly written and stapled or clipped to the article. Make sure your name and class period is on your summary. This assignment is worth 10 points, which were missed on the day of class you were absent or unable to participate in the Physical Education class.

Dance Research Paper Final Project
Students will complete a research paper on a topic of their choice (not a biography) related to dance. Students should include significant information on their chosen topic and why it is important to the world of dance. The paper should include at least 4 credible sources cited within the work and should be 3-4 pages in length. There should be a title page and a works cited page that do not count toward the required length of 3-4 pages.

Jazz/Broadway Dance Unit Project
A power point or video presentation rubric for Jazz/Broadway. You need to have a minimum of 10 slides or 10 specific facts included in the video.You should also sight your info on presentation either with a slide or video of resources. Presentations of Slide Shows and videos will start on November 8. Pick a Jazz or Broadway dancer/choreographer from the early or modern eras.
