Dance Research Paper Final Project
Students will complete a research paper on a topic of their choice (not a biography) related to dance. Students should include significant information on their chosen topic and why it is important to the world of dance. The paper should include at least 4 credible sources cited within the work and should be 3-4 pages in length. There should be a title page and a works cited page that do not count toward the required length of 3-4 pages.

Biography of Dancer/Choreographer
Students will research a famous dancer or choreographer and write a 2-3 page biography about this person. Include important biographical information, accomplishments and contributions to the world of dance, and qualities and styles of movements used in works. Students should cite at least 3 sources of information within the paper and include a works cited page at the end. The works cited page and title page do not count toward the page requirement of 2-3 pages.

Dance Interview
You will have to complete an interview with one of your dance peers, a current college dance student, or a person in a career related to dance. You will create 10 questions with 6 questions relating specifically to dance and their future plans involving dance. Your questions must be in complete sentences with correct spelling. Once the interview is complete, you will write an article (see example) to give a background on the person you interviewed and the answers to their interview questions.
