Escritura teatral y actuación en español

Students will create a choreography for "CANCION DE PREPOSICIONES" and perform it in front of the class.

This is a presentation that is all about YOU and your family. In the presentation, you will include some background information about yourself, as well as a description of your family in general and at least 4 family members. FOLLOW THE FORMAT I PROVIDED DURING CLASS.

Create a Powerpoint presentation to introduce at least 6 members of your family. You should include a picture of each family member and write a short paragraph to introduce each person. The verbs tener and ser, along with family and description vocabulary and possessive adjectives should be used. Each description should be 4-5 sentences.

Work in a group of two/three, to write a rap song that follows the criteria below. Then present it to the class.

SMALL PROJECT. Students will make a comic strip report about the story "La Novia Perfecta". It should include: Story description in Spanish, characters in the story, simple dialogue and drawings.

Students will create a parallel character to “Carlitos” from the short film Hola Llamigo. Using a poster, students will illustrate, label and write about a new neighbor for Carlitos. It should include: Name, age, personality, looks, family members, relationship to Carlitos, what family does for a living, description of the home, and bedroom.

Work with your group to create a video including Spanish subtitles.

Inspired by one of the greatest Mexican Muralists, Diego Rivera, students will create their own personalized mural. _NYS standard: Students will be able to recognize cultural patterns and traditions of the target culture.

IN TEAMS, YOU WILL RESEARCH AND MAKE A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION ABOUT A SPECIFIC MEXICAN ARTIST INFLUENCED BY THE MEXICAN REVOLUTION. FOLLOW THE QUESTIONS PROVIDED DURING CLASS.

10 minute PowerPoint presetentation on the chosen artist that gives background of the artist as well as a comprehensive analysis of his/her artwork.

You will create a mini-poster in Spanish where you describe your childhood (at least 10 of the points mentioned in class), your present (at least 4 aspects of your present life), and your dreams for the future (at least 5 predictions) . IMPORTANT: You have to use at least one photograph and / or drawing on each of these points in your life. Demonstrate your knowledge and use of Spanish: Imperfect, present and future. Be creative and have fun.
