Create a magazine cover that looks like a real magazine. Choose the title of the publication. Then, be sure you include a title, photos, headline articles, dateline and follow a monthly theme. Be creative and make the finished product look as professional as possible. Be aware of the marketability and audience appeal of your magazine. The final document can be printed or shared via email: khouse@dunklin.k12.mo.us. Be prepared to present the final project to the class.

This rubric was made for a Practicum course. The project created was a Comic Life. Students would be required to use Comic Life to create a story to pitch to Pixar about Global water movement (the water cycle, erosion, sunlight's effect and gravity's effect). They will present their Comic Life to the directors of Pixar (their classmates).

Students use the slab hand building method with a mask mold to make a clay mask expressing their own unique creativity.

After studying Georgia O'Keeffe's flowers, the students zoomed into an interested place on their flower references. We did a grid drawing. The grid drawing was transferred on to larger paper and then colored with oil pastels.

The second graders will learn how to draw a castle in perspective and to add either exterior or interior details to their castle in perspective.
