Frankenstein Creative Project
Students will interact with the novel's themes by producing a creative project. Two projects will equal the grade one essay. Students should demonstrate an understanding of the text.

Personal Narrative
Write a Personal Narrative Essay about an important, life-changing event from your life. Describe your memorable event in chronological order. Include reactions in your personal narrative such as dialogue, specific details and emotions. Include a reflection in your essay on what you learned from this experience (conclusion). Your personal narrative should be a five paragraph essay with an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion.

Speech to Inform-College Speech
Students will research, plan, and compose a speech in which their performance will be evaluated in terms of specific standards set in class, including the clarity and completeness of your speech and the quality of your presentation in explaining your topic matter. Non-verbal communication is highlighted. Students will have 3 to 5 minutes to deliver the speech.

What is the True Nature of Man?
“What is the true nature of man?”/Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. What is your author’s view of man? Do you agree or disagree with his view of man? If you agree with him, what current examples support yours and his view, what current examples oppose it. If you disagree with his view of man, what current examples support your viewpoint and oppose your viewpoint, therefore agreeing with his. Your opinion will be stated in this article but you must state it in third person.
