Objective: To create a semi-professional newscast that includes topics that have been previously studied in conjunction with topics currently being studied in Spanish III. The vocabulary terms include news, weather, sports, leisure activities, and current events in the Spanish-speaking world. Students will work in small groups to create an entire newscast. Students will be graded on individual work, group work, and the outcome of the production as a whole.

Create a visual floor plan presentation of your Dream House .You will have to draw, make a PowerPoint presentation, or make a movie. Your house must contain cocina, baño, comedor, sala, recámaras, lavadero, patio y garaje and labeled in Spanish. You will have to draw or paste pictures of different pieces of furniture or objects found in each room. Vocabulary You must include Vocabulary from Chapter 8, write 5 sentences in Spanish describing each room of your dream house, include at least 5 directions 5 descriptions, name and label items afuera (outside), include the following verbs: Ser, Estar, Tener, Poner, Hacer, Vivir, and Preferir include the word Hay(there is) and Ordinal Numbers (primero, segundo...) Description of presentation You must be ready to present to the classroom. You will speak in Spanish a minimum of two minutes by memory to describe your dream home. If you are making a video it must contain a tour of your dream house, narrated by you in Spanish.

When traveling to a foreign country you will need to EAT! This is a great opportunity for you to practice your conversation skills in order to interact with your friends and the waiter or waitress. It is your first night out on the town and you meet up at a hip little cafe in town. You are spending the evening catching up with each other and of course eating your favorite native cuisine.
