Students will create a visual and audio dictionary using the common Slavey vocabulary words. In this dictionary they must provide the written word in English and Slavey, a visual picture or drawing of the word, and an audio recording of the word in Slavey. Minimum of 20 words is required.

Research and write a one page paper describing how a specific drug affects the nervous system specifically the brain, neurons, and neurotransmitters.

Students will modelling clay to make a model of a neuron. It must have labels and a paragraph that outlines the functions of all the parts of a neuron.

Your job is to create a brochure about the planet of your choice. You MUST include the required elements in your brochure about your planet. Be creative!

Students will write a six frame comic strip tracing the travels of an Oxygen molecule as it travels throughout the human body. Vocabulary words studied in class will be used in the story to describe the respiratory process. The six steps given will be utilized in the correct order in in comic strip. Work will be neat and easily read. Students will share their comic strips with class members.
