Students are required to answer comprehension questions doing/after class readings. Answers must be written in complete sentences.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Google Slide presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the Google Slide presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your Google Slide have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Create a 5-10 minute video adaptation of one or many texts from this semester.

Students should be able to define concepts and demonstrate knowledge in paraphrasing. Students will be able to analyze material and paraphrase ideas .

Research the approved topic. Submit a -2- 4page typed paper, with Title Page, Header, double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 3 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar/ mechanics, and bibliography.

Students plan, research, create PowerPoint, cite sources.

Excel Spreadsheet: Open and save a workbook, enter labels and values, edit cell entries, create and enter formulas, use Excel functions, format values, use fonts and font sizes, adjust column widths, generate totals with AutoFill.

Students are to create a movie trailer for their independent reading book. The book should engage viewers and make the viewers WANT to watch the movie/read the book. Requirements include two minutes of video, voiceovers/speaking, music, titles, and some editing. Student's video MUST be relevant to the book.

After using an Atlas to complete the map, choose a country and create a presentation. You may use Microsoft Word, Prezi, or PowerPoint. If you are using Prezi or PowerPoint you may choose a partner. Add Group Members at bottom of page under Comments.
