Volleyball Assessment

day, students will not receive a grade for that day. Its not possible to make up the actual weight lifting day. Students will have the opportunity to earn grades through out the nine weeks. All test or assignments given on paper must be made up. It is your responsibility to make sure you get these assignments from the teacher. Students who do not dress out will be deducted 40 points from their total grade. Students who are tardy will be deducted 20 points.

Basketball SKills will be assess from dribbling, shooting, and how well players run the plays.

Assessment based on if students can explain the movement cues of the layup, execute a layup in a practice situation, and execute a layup in game situations. Standard 2.5.8.A.1

Basketball Unit Scoring Rubric

This rubric is designed to review the present tense, health related vocabulary, use of indirect object pronouns and the proper uses of the Spanish verbs SER and ESTAR. The skit takes place either at home and/or in a doctor's office and/or pharmacy. This presentation takes place at the end of the Health unit for a Spanish I level class. Students are required to work in groups of 3-4, each student must have a minimum of 4 complete lines that are to be memorized. Students are to bring in props so the audience can clearly understand the role they are portraying and in addition, students are required to select one or more scenes to display on the SMART Board as a background. The skit is based off the skills students have been practicing in the chapter, expressing feelings, symptoms, asking questions, answering questions all related to health and illness. The creativity is up to them! The students are being graded both individually and as a group.
