Biography Report
This rubric will assist in assessing a nonfiction report on an U.S. President's biography. The students will choose a President who has influenced history. They are then to conduct research which must include a book, but using more than one resource. They will present an oral report while I show a picture of the President in the background.

Students will create a written report and a poster. The poster will contain information about an important Missourian. The poster will include a time line, 2 illustrations, and 5 important facts about the person. The poster should be creative and eye catching. The paper will include a bibliography with research credit from at least 3 resources. The resources may include books, magazine articles, or websites.

Scientific Design Poster rubric
The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or full size construction paper.

Fiction Book Report
The students chose a fiction book of their choice. The book report should include: a colorful cover page with your name, the date, the title of the book, the author's name, and an illustration. You report should include an introduction and a conclusion paragraph. The body of the report should include the main characters, the setting, what the issue is/are, and how was is solved. You also need to include your opinion.
