Students are to create a a fake Facebook profile using Word Processor, PowerPoint, or Fakebook.com. Students will use biographical information from the course and research to create a profile. Students will also create status and wall posts, they will also use other historical figures to comment on the page appropriately. The information inputted should be based on research and should include the personal information, qualities, and contribution of the character and others to the United States

Assessment of Elementary Level Writing - 3rd Grade King Tut On the Move

Students are to work cooperatively in group to complete assignment. Students will be provided with a story of a character that is living an unhealthy lifestyle. In groups of 4, the students will research and create a presentation including the health risks and effects of the person's unhealthy lifestyle. Groups will create a poster presenting their findings. Presentation should be well organized and all group members will have a role in creation of the poster and presentation.

Design a propaganda poster according to the position you held for the Dred Scott Case.

Write a journal entry from the perspective of either Pinky or Say. Your journal entry should reflect the setting (time and place) and events that you read about in your textbook and class discussions. Include many specific details using both your research and the five senses to give the reader a vivid picture of your experience.
