Colors (song/oral recognition)

Students need to be able to demonstrate that they can duplicate works of art using the techniques and processes relevant to their chosen medium.

You and four others will create a video illustrating the correct uses of the preterite and imperfect tenses in Spanish. All members must participate in this video creation. Each group will have to brainstorm their ideas on paper, and get any song approvals before filming. Utilize your creative side to make this project fun! All members of the group will fill out an evaluation for each group member, so make sure everyone is working together!

Complete a research project on an inventor and his/her invention/s. Use PowerPoint or Prezi or a poster to present your project.

The following rubric is a checklist for your current singing skills. During class you will sing an excerpt from a song from our repertoire. You will be expected to sing with pitch and rhythmic accuracy, energy and projection, diction and articulation, expression and style, proper tone quality and blend.

Student must research and create an art project which includes the symbols and drawings of ancient Mesoamerica.
