Art Show Juror Rubric
Create a nontraditional art project which is either 2D or 3D depending on the class that is show ready. Students will construct a Ceramic Sculpture which is also a container. Each area is worth 10 points.

Ceramic Tile
Students will make a rough draft (6-41/2) of a scene with a building in the background Hand out clay tools and wood palettes. Explain to the students how they are going to use both reduction and additive processes to create their tile. Explain the use of scoring and slipping as a means of joining objects together.

Students will make art work (diorama or mobile) using Air Dry Clay modules.

Slot Sculpture
Start cutting cardboard into pieces with a variety of slot placement and sizes (20-30 minimum). Experiment with the pieces to see how you can build sculptural forms. You may want to trace and replicate some shapes to add rhythm. Next, paint or decorate cardboard modules to fit your design. After modules are dry use them to assemble sculpture.

students will reenact their own famous painting using whatever they have a hand. They will then photograph it and send the original and their reenactment photo. Remember photographing is the key.
