Have a conversation centering around clothing. Incorporate direct object pronouns, indirect object pronouns, combinations of pronouns, clothing vocabulary and the preterit tense.

Students work in groups of 2-3 to cut and paste food groups onto paper into a pyramid. Student also keeps track of one daily food intake using a food journal.

This rubric is how classwork and homework will be evaluated.

Using Animoto, students will create a video to meet the following objectives: 1) I can assess a person’s body language and attempt to describe their feelings or emotional state. 2) I can write complete sentences that use the correct personal pronoun, state of being verb and emotion word. CC REA-INF #7: Integrate information presented in different media or formats (e.g., visually, quantitatively) as well as in words to develop a coherent understanding of a topic or issue. CCS WRI-#6: Use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing as well as to interact and collaborate with others.

Students will write verbs in small pieces of paper and paste them in the verb chart provided. This work is individual and no prompts to be given.
