This rubric is used to grade a research paper about a character a student will present on during Medieval Week at Franklin School. Attention is paid to the categories of research in the areas of housing accommodations, occupation/role, training/education, and clothing. Students are also assessed in their ability to create a source list and visual aids/appendices that show sketches/pictures of items such as tools and materials, as well as their clothing.

Perrydale School rubric for Mr. Bryant's Middle School Leadership class. Students are scored on two items: 1) A pre-write worksheet that gauges their baseline knowledge about a career of interest in the areas of nature of work, educational requirements, average salary information, projected openings, skills needed, and bibliography. 2) A post-write research paper that gauges the growth in their knowledge of the above areas.
