Grades paragraph structure, grammar, and mechanics.

Students are to create a timeline (can be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, etc) concerning important events in history from the Era of Exploration through the American Revolutionary War. There should be no less than 5 items on the timeline. Students are to include pictures that they believe represent the events on their timeline (you can either cut & paste or draw or trace pictures). The timeline is due Thursday, December 19,2013.

This will be used to analyze and assign grades for Mapping assignments.

Design a geographical me visual aid that tells about you through the use of the five themes of geography. Students will demonstrate an understanding of how to use maps, globes, and other tools to locate people, places, and environments, while studying their interactions on Earth's surface.

Think visually. Design and create a collage that communicates your understanding of the 5 themes of geographic inquiry: Place/Location, Movement, Region, Environment and Interaction

Students will research and present information, including a visual aid, with information about the country studied. Students will work independantly, create a project, and present the information in a gallery walk format.

Evaluate each student's cooperative group skills and task performance and enter a rating for each group work responsibility. Circle the number that best fits their performance.

Students will research information on Native American tribes from different regions of the U.S.
