Famous People with Spanish Heritage
Research a famous person from a Spanish-speaking country (born or decedents). Write a 1 page (single spaced) or 2.5 (double-spaced) report on your findings along with a separate page that tells me where you found all information. (at least 3 sources) You will present the major information you learned about this person to the class and include a PowerPoint.

Spanish II students will create a personal Coat of Arms. The purpose of a Coat of Arms is to represent who you and your family are to the world.

Comidas Tradicionales de los Paises Hispanohablantes
Student will create and present a flyer on the traditional foods from a Spanish-speaking country. It will include a map of the country and its capital. Student will include a graphic and a description of each meal:breakfast, lunch and dinner with dessert, and any beverage particular to the country.

Mi familia (Spanish I)
Student will create and present a family tree using pictures of their family on a poster board or PowerPoint presentation. The pictures need to be described with information provided in the rubric. It will include their family members and may include their pets. Also, one picture and description should be you! They will introduce themselves and describe the family members in their family tree in Spanish. If student lives with other relatives other than parents, show connection. If student does not live with family members, indicate their roles. PowerPoint will be posted to schoology.com.
