This Rubric is designed to analyze the usability and general content of a website designed for a country competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi

Students will research, plan, and compose a speech in which their performance will be evaluated in terms of specific standards set in class, including the clarity and completeness of your speech and the quality of your presentation in explaining your topic matter. Non-verbal communication is highlighted. Students will have 3 to 5 minutes to deliver the speech.

Students use techniques of Pointillism to create art work of their choice.

In specific groups, students will create a 2-5 min commercial to sell an imaginary product.

In specific groups, students will create a 30 second-1 min commercial using the Movie Maker Program. You must import a video for your commercial. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product or go to a specific destination. You must complete the commercial worksheet (provided), and have at least 4 story board frames (see attached worksheets). You must have video, music and audio. A written script must accompany your presentation. Use the commercial worksheet to show how your commercial targets the appropriate customers, and to show how you will sell your project.
