The purpose of this assignment is to create an advertisement or presentation, using at least three rhetorical devices.

Students are to create a movie trailer based any story read this year. Their job is to analyze the text and create a persuasive element to the trailer that will convey and capture that essence of the story.

Students will demonstrate their understanding of expository text structure (comparison/contrast, cause/effect, sequence of events, problem/ solution, and description/list) They will read an article and find the correct expository text structure used. They will complete the appropriate graphic organizer for the text structure.

For this project you will need to present the Historical Event that your team chose, once you have chosen your project from the list, you need to make sure to include the following in your project: Where and When the Historical Event Happened Causes and Effects of the Historical Event 5 Facts about the Historical Event Main Characters and How the Event Affected Their Life How the Event Changed People's Lives or the Community
