Assessment of Elementary Level Writing - 3rd Grade

This rubric will be used to evaluate and help guide kindergarten students in their daily writing.

Kindergarten students will look at a picture or be given a story starter and create a narrative writing describing an imaginary story based on the picture or story starter.

Students will have to write their name and write the letters of the alphabet as well as draw a picture of themselve.

This rubric was put together to assess kindergarten writing samples in a formal way.
