8th Grade Famous African-American Scientist Report
Students will research and write a five paragraph essay about a historical African-American scientist (any area of science) . The report will include an introductory paragraph, one paragraph that details a short biography, one paragraph that tells about the figure's contribution to science and one that details how that contribution made the world a better place, and a final closing paragraph.
