(use quotes from 5) Sources should include a news paper, 2 professional journals, your text and two other books. Quotes can not be more than 5 lines. You are encouraged to interject your personal opinion into this paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

This rubric is to evaluate the group and individual participation and contribution to the creation of an informative wiki site on an assigned topic.

This essay will be used to grade scholarship essays.

Students design a 2-page newspaper with at least three different elements and two graphic elements

Students will create a political cartoon to gain support for American Isolationism during World War Two

Students will research events and gather facts and details. Using the data gathered in research, students will create a fictional character who participated or observed in these events and write a fictional memoir. The memoir must be written from a first-person perspective, include many historical facts from their research and demonstrate creative writing.

The student creates an editorial to demonstrate knowledge of an assigned topic. AMLE (NMSA) 1, 2, 5; ECED 1c, 4c

Students will write an argument paper showing persuasive argumentation, a definite pattern, reputable cites, in text citations, and complex writing structure.

This rubric is for Independent Reading goals and will assess how thoroughly you responded to the questions for personal reflection and summary. This rubric also assessed whether or not you are capable of following simply word processing instructions.
