Meine Famile - Stammbaum Projekt
Students will create a Google slide presentation of their family tree, using pictures of their family and labeling family members as indicated on instructions. Your family tree will include at least 10 family members and one (of course) can be a pet! Also, one picture and description will be of you! Choose 4-5 of these family members to describe. You will write 4-5 sentences for each person. If you like, you may choose an imaginary family and pick the members from the internet.

DII Doctor Visit Skit Peformed in German Rubric
This rubric is designed for a German II oral presentation in which students will be presenting a skit in German. The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary of a visit to the doctor, and the inclusion of both current and previous grammar points covered. Students create a scenario where there is a medical situation that requires a visit to/from the doctor. The Team is responsible for assigning its members to the different characters, developing a dialogue and any props. No script.

D2 U3 Famous Germans
Students will design a google slide presentation that explores famous Germans. Some examples are Martin Luther, Einstein, Claudia Schiffer, etc. Students may also research a German state, a German-speaking country, or a product that has been manufactured in Germany, or even food that is typically German. Make sure to use only German in your presentation. Also, include a vocabulary list for unfamiliar words. Include 8-10 slides.

Compare German and American Schools
Create a Google slide presentation in which you Compare American and German Schools. You will pick 8 German words from the list below. Put 1 word on each slide with a German sentence and a picture. National World Languages Week's Video Contest
Create a 2 minute video to promote the study of world languages (benefits for college, and for your future). Make it a commercial, a music video, news report, or a song. It must be professional and focus on sending a positive message that promotes fun while learning world languages. First, research the benefits of language study. Best videos will be viewed during N W L Week in the LGI, and the students who have created the best video will win a prize. Work in small groups.

TYPE a diary of your trip of 6 days to a German speaking country. Give flight information (print the itinerary), describe accommodations , what and where you dine (3 meals/day). Also include 3 attractions per day, and visit 3 cities. Collect evidence from the internet and paste it in your diary. Must be realistic.

This rubric is designed for a German II oral presentation in which students will be presenting a skit in German. The skit is based on unit 7 vocabulary of a visit to the doctor, and both current and previous grammar points need to be covered. Students create a scenario in which certain body parts hurt and it requires a visit to the doctor. The Team is responsible for assigning its members different characters, developing a dialogue and props.

German 3 students will use vocabulary and grammar reference material from their Na Klar 3! classroom resources and work cooperatively in a group to write, perform, and video tape a 90-second program in German. Expected Outcome: Students will use all their 1st and 2nd semester resource material to write out and record a 90 - second video program with a group. Student will demonstrate mastery of this material by scoring 80% or higher on this oral activity, as a team.

Grammar Presentation Rubric
Students will create a grammar presentation in small groups to share with their classmates. The students will put together a power point or a poster to show during their oral presentation. Daily Routine
Make a multi-media presentation (video, powerpoint, etc.) of a daily routine in German using reflexive verbs (sich washen, sich die Zahne putzen, etc), and time. You can use your daily routine or you can get creative and create the daily routine of someone else. You may not use any English in your project and you must include both speech and written accounts.

Students will be required to work in groups of 3-4 students and design a poster board that explores German in some way. The categories that are available to students will be the following: Famous German speaking people - Martin Luther, Einstein, Hitler, etc. Geographical Regions - German speaking countries, regions, town, or cities Culture - German music artists, traditional German music or dance, food, fashion, German cars, typical German pastimes etc. Other - Have a idea not covered by one of the above categories?
