Google Maps ROAD TRIP!
Evaluates an assignment using Google Map skills whereby the students create a map of their own utilising the features of Google Maps. In this project the students plotted an itinerary from home to Yellowstone National Park and back.

African Cartography Project
Specific Expectation: Students will create a map an African country to show the relative positions of the country by using shading and color. Students will draw pictures or icons to indicate variations in land characteristics by using appropriate geographic features.

Each student was to create a Prezi presentation on a certain school appropriate topic of their choice. This presentation must be professional, creative, engaging to the rest of the class, and address the assigned content.

Civilization ABC Book Rubric
Students have the opportunity to earn extra credit by making an ABC book using at least 10 vocabulary words from the present unit we are in. The score will count as a test grade. The ABC book will be due before we take that unit's test.
