General interpersonal conversation rubric

Students will be evaluated on the following criteria; Organization - commercial flows logically, Content - Commercial explains what it is and why you should by it, Props- utilized, Eye Contact - focused on audience, Grammar- Correct, Clarity - audible

A Spanish dialogue between two or three characters using vocabulary for traveling by plane or train or renting a car.

This skit is based on the unit's vocabulary of a visit to the doctor, and the inclusion of both current and previous grammar points covered. Students create a scenario where there is a medical situation that requires a visit to/from the doctor. The Team is responsible for assigning its members to the different characters, developing a dialogue and any props.

Give one minute oral presentation in Spanish.

You will be taking an oral exam in Spanish based on your answer to a question from Chapter 7, 8, or 9.

You will work in a group of 3-4 and write and present a weather broadcast in Spanish. You will write a forecast for 2 days of various cities in a Spanish speaking country (one city per person in the group) of your choice and draw a weather map to use as a prop. I will video tape your broadcast. You need to present as if weather anchors on the news. Each person will be assigned a task: Meterólogo (Meterologist): This person will be responsible for looking up weather forecast online using www.español.weather.com; Escritores (Writers) These students will be responsible for writing out the actual forecast and assigning parts to each person in the group.; Artistas (Map Artists') These students will be responsible for creating the weather map to be used for the broadcast. You may use any additional on line source you wish, but should included all relevant vocabulary learned in class.
