Famous Musician
You will be given a musician to study. You must RESEARCH your musician and SELECT a song of particular interest to you. You will write three paragraphs. In paragraph 1, you will introduce your musician and give a short biography. In paragraph 2, you will state the style of music they play and describe specific characteristics of their music. For example, do they use a steel guitar? Do they use personal stories? Look in your notes about the characteristics of the styles of music that we have studied. Also, what have critics said about your artist's style and technique? In the 3rd paragraph, you will express why you've selected this particular piece. For example, how did the piece make you feel? Does the piece speak to you? MUST BE TYPED! You may present your selection as a recording or you may perform it.
