PowerPoint Presentation for Undergraduate Psychology Course

This is a rubric to use with elementary students who are creating a PowerPoint presentation based on a research topic.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Students will choose one event from the content they have learned and create a mobile following the instructions provided.

Students select information from 5th Grade history content and create a trivia board game.

Student will create a graphic novel based on a topic related to a unit in Natural Disasters/ History of the Universe

To demonstrate how well you have researched your topic and understand the material.

Basic Rubric for evaluation of a single timeline or multiple timelines on the same paper.

Make a newspaper about the book or set in the same city as the book’s main setting. Include at least five parts of a newspaper: comics, advertisements, weather, news stories, feature stories, letters to the editor, obituaries, editorials, sports, etc.

Students will be able to select a famous person or build a model of an important person, discovery, invention, or contribution during the Renaissance Period. Students will research the famous person or model and transfer that demonstrated knowledge, concepts, and understanding of how the person or model has contributed to technology today in giving a short 2-4 minute presentation.
