People often express their feelings about historical issues or events through artwork such as songs, novels, short stories, paintings, sculptures and movies. For this project you will do six steps: 1. You will choose a work of art (painter, cartoonist, poster illustrator, or sculptor/artist). 2 & 3. You will research the ARTIST (include background information) and analyze the artist's artwork you selected. 4. You will create your own presentation using Photo Booth, iPhoto, iMovie, Pages and / or Keynote. 5 & 6. You will change your project to a PDF and upload your presentation to my Moodle and finally make your presentation to class. Be prepared to answer a question(s) from the class or the teacher. Your presentation should be at least 15-20+ slides/images in length.

The student will create a Diorama which includes a favorite scene from the movie, "Secret Garden." The student will also write a 10 sentence scene analysis telling why the chosen scene is important to the book/movie. They will also include a 10 sentence paragraph describing what their favorite part of the story was and will give a recommendation to others (Would you recommend it to a friend or not? Why or why not?) This diorama is due on Wednesday, May 26th. Have fun with it!

You will create a booklet or power point describing your daily routine. 1) You will submit a rough draft as part of your final grade. 2) You will include a picture for each sentence/page/slide accurately illustrating all 15 sentences/pages/slides as well as the English translated sentence. 3) You will be required to use at least 2 sentences with "despues de" and 2 sentences with "antes de". 4) You will also be required to say at what time you do certain activities (time spelled out), and for how long. 5) Your daily routine story will begin from the time you get up until you go to sleep. 6) You should depict a normal school day and include at least 5 different vocabulary terms from each section. (not including antes de & despues de) 7) Your extra curricular activities need not be accurate according to what you do in real life, but you must use adjectives describing how you are as to why you choose to participate in such activities. (pretend).
