Label and draw the major muscles

All research gathered and the written summaries of arguments are due on debate day about a patient's right to die.

This rubric is to grade students that are working on a group project. Each group will create a bulletin board with four types of development across the top. Life stages are listed down one side, and types of development under each classification are shown using diagrams, pictures, or words.

A written research paper of the selected disorder must be submitted on the date of the assignment. The written paper will present a discussion of current research of the disorder. Include symptoms of the disorder, causes, treatments , preventions, and definition of the disorder. Include 3 resources. It must be at least one page long, written.

Students will identify controllable and uncontrollable risk factors for heart disease. Students will work in small groups for this project.

Draw a cross section of the heart labeling the parts listed and coloring each. Colors can be used more than once but not side by side. Trace the flow of blood through the heart, labeling the flow with numbers, and explaining in written format out to the side of the heart.Also list risk factors for heart disease on your drawing.

October is Halloween month. Label and draw all the bones on page 149 and 152 in your anatomy book, including the proper skeletal names. Be as creative as you want.

Research and develop at least 12 slides on a Power Point presentation on skin disorder of your choice, including signs, symptoms, causes, and treatment. Also include diagnostic procedures of the skin, and preventitive measures against skin cancer(including signs and symptoms of skin cancer). Include adequate information to inform your teacher about the subject. You may use design tools, clip art, pictures, etc. Make sure you include enough research material to meet the assignment criteria. Proper spelling and grammatics are important and will be assessed as part of the overall grade. Consider and respond to the questions on your handout.
