Discussion Board Participation Rubric
This rubric will be used to assign points for your Morocco exchange discussion board participation. Each discussion board post is worth 5 points. Social Documentary Photographers Writing Rubric
Students conducted research to demonstrate familiarity with photojournalist/documentary photographers and the use of photography and photo stories as tools for social change. Students conducted research on two photographers and summarized their lives and work. Students analyzed a photo essay on an issue of importance to them.

MMCIT Class Experience Photo Essay
The purpose of this assignment is to serve as an introduction to photo essays and visual thinking by working on a series (minimum 6 photos) of pictures. The pictures must have something in common at the concept level. Examples: 6 or more pictures of an event in sequence, a series of photos describing a process, a series of photos describing an idea, etc… No words/characters/numbers are allowed in telling your stories.
