This rubric is to grade student's application of Bloom's Taxonomy as a guide for creating meaningful lesson plans. Students will create an interactive visual that identifies the levels of the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy model. It must include the verbs that are associated with each level, and products/applications that students can do that shows learning at each level. (Refer to Bloom's Summary Handout). The visual must have a theme that will be used to give an example of an activity one can do in each level of Bloom's. For example, a butterfly theme would have butterflies incorporated into the display and sample activities should be about learning about butterflies. The visual must be creatively displayed, including ways that other students can interact with the display, such as a lift-a-flap game or puzzle, 3-D model, or a poster with removable pieces... use your imagination! Each student will give a brief oral presentation explaining the interactive visual display you created.

A grading scale used to evaluate a student's compilation of best works in art production, creativity, abililty, and effort in work.

The student will create a relief printmaking block using linoleum or wood blocks. They will print the block in an edition of 10. Turn in 3.

Student will find and image, black and white. There should be some levels of high and low contrast. The image should take up most of the paper. The image will be transfered to scratch paper. Proper line direction is important. Final craftmanship should be used for the whole project.

Students will create a landscape using the artist style of pointillism.

Rubric for 3-D Art students to evaluate their own work and permit the teacher to assess progress and success of learned and applied information.

After a review of the color wheel by the teacher, the student will create an original drawing incorporating all of the colors of the color wheel on paper. The student will correctly mix and paint the correct colors on the color wheel in the correct position while creating an interesting composition.
