Ma Famille
Students will make a family tree in French on poster board. You must include at least 10 family members. You must include a combination of both immediate and extended family and you must include yourself on the tree. You must have: 1. A picture for each family member 2. A family vocabulary term 3. A possessive adjective (mon, ma) 4. The relationship of that family member to another family member. Example: C'est ma mère. Elle est la fille de ma grand-mère.

You will use your creativity to create a monster/beast. You may use a poster board or create a 3D model (sculpture). You are to label a minimum of 10 body parts on your monster. You will then describe your monster in five paragraphs. If using a poster, paste paragraphs on the poster board. Paragraph one must be a physical description. Paragraph two will describe its likes and dislikes (may include food, activities etc). In paragraph three, you will describe your monster's illness in detail (feelings, symptoms and condition). In paragraph four, you will describe his doctor's visit (what the doctor examines, his diagnosis and his prescription). In the last paragraph, describe where you go for the medicine and the process. Each paragraph must be a minimum of five sentences. Use your adjectives, verb tenses, articles and target vocabulary. Write your own sentences. DO NOT USE TRANSLATORS!

Homework Rubric

Travel Brochure / Flyer French Speaking Country
TASK: Mon Pays Francophone. You will choose a French speaking country and create a three-fold brochure highlighting the country for English-Speaking travellers to the country. It should be mostly visual with brief, three to four sentence explanations of each picture. All sides of the brochure should be covered (6 total) Pictures should be touched with color in class. You may also make a flyer with pictures depicting the climate, religion and foods. Be sure to include at least 5 French words.
