Students will create personal logos based on the criteria we have outlined in class. Their logos should be simple, bold, memorable, clear and meaningful.

Design three book covers for three short story writers for a book cover series, depicting your interpretation of the short story.

Your assignment is to design a poster to promote safe driving that will increase awareness of how distractions cause accidents.

Produce a collage using your "can" drawing as a background and adding 3-5 pictures/photos/images from the internet that reflect/play off of your "can" drawing theme. You must show evidence that learning the photoshop software has taken place.

There are different types of photographic portraits. Traditional portraits are usually head and shoulder shots with the subject smiling into the camera. Personality portraits dig a little deeper into the soul of your subject and reveal the character of the person. The background or foreground may or may not be an important aspect of the image. Lastly, environmental portraits reveal the subject’s profession, vocation, hobby or passion. The environment surrounding the subject is a key element in the photograph.

Create a music video (using iMovie, MovieMaker or Photostory) to include outside visuals and transitions demonstrating their knowledge of the one of the subjects studied in Humanities. Work with a partner on this project.

this rubric intented to be used for digital artwork designed through Adobe Photoshop, MS Paint, CorelDraw, or any other artwork program.

The purpose of this assignment is for students to become familiar with Photoshop and elements of photo composition. Students will shoot seven digital photographs using balance, rule of thirds, simplicity, framing, contrast, depth of field and lines. Students may use more than one of these elements in each photograph. The finished project should be organized in an 8 slide power point.

Your task is to take 40 yearbook pictures for the subject you are assigned (sports). Remember to use your camera like the viewfinder, look at thing in various angles. How do things look centered or cut off the page? Turn your camera diagonal, get on the ground and shoot upwads... the options are endless !!
