Practical assessment used at the end of a 8th Grade Volleyball Unit. Evaluation of Bump and Set skills are with partners. Evaluation of Serve and Spike are individual and with the added evaluation of the ball going over the net and in bounds.

Volleyball:forearm pass
8th grade evaluation on fundamentals of a forearm pass in volleyball. Students are Rated and scored on the mechanics of their pass, not completely the number of successful passes. Students are scored at 15 possible points. Scoring in the Advanced range gains extra credit.

Volleyball: Underhand Serve
6th grade evaluation on the fundement skill of underhand serving a volleyball in a game situation. Students are rated and scored on the mechanics of their serving, not the number of serve landing inbounds. Students are scored at 12 possible points.

Volleyball Skill- Bump
The students must show proper form of arms and hands. Arms are locked and in front of the body. Hands are folded/overlapping. A proper stance must be shown for the skill. The ready stance, with knees slightly bent and feet shoulder width apart. Execution of the skill will be determined by accuracy (where the ball lands on the volleyball court or evaualtion space).
