Project: Spanish (Board) Game
You and a partner will create a Spanish game that covers what we've seen and done this year! It must include 50 questions and answers in Spanish that range from easy to complex, and you MUST be able to answer them all for your game. ALL games are due May 16th so we can play them before finals. Do your 50 q/a FIRST and show them to me. Get creative with the rest and have fun! You will need to provide the following: 50 questions with an answer key Directions Game board Game pieces Answer key

Spanish video/presentation
Students will create a "Spanish video" that will be 3 to 5 minutes in length. It will consist of creating a newscast with anchors and reporters discussing four natural disasters. The video must include each partner speaking at least 14 lines or 200 words of Spanish. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video. The final script is due 3/9and the video is due 3/16.

Students will create a video of a cooking demonstration using a recipe of a dish from a Spanish speaking country. They will present the script by __________________. Spanish Commercial
Students will create a Spanish commercial using video. The video must include vocabulary & grammar from the year. Students will follow the format of a Direct TV commercial. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product. You must have audio to your video.The use of props to enhance your video is strongly advised.

Spanish Children's Book Project
This project is intended for Spanish 6. You and a partner are to create a book for children in which you use a variety of review vocabualry. The book should include present, past and imperfect tense conjugations and demonstrate knowledge of vocabulary learning in Spanish I-V. A minimum of 10 pictures with captions.

Spanish III - Spanish Children's Book Project
This is a final writing project you will produce for Spanish class. You will be writing a children's book in Spanish using the tenses (primarily imperfect and preterite) & vocabulary you have learned so far. The book must be 10 pages long and have 3 sentences per page. Each page must be illustrated or (created on the computer) in color. The book must have a cover with a title and author.

Spanish Speaking Country Travel Project
You will be taking a trip to an assigned Spanish speaking country. You will need to research your country to learn about the culture, weather & climate, currency of the country, religion, foods, housing and famous landmarks. I also want to know the total cost of the trip. Include all travel documents you will need to travel to that country. Part 1 (RESEARCH & FORMAT), Part 2 Flag & Map and Part 3 (Oral Presentation) - Culture and Itinerary.

La Casa de Mis Sueños
Create a visual floor plan presentation of your Dream House .You will have to draw, make a PowerPoint presentation, or make a movie. Your house must contain cocina, baño, comedor, sala, recámaras, lavadero, patio y garaje and labeled in Spanish. You will have to draw or paste pictures of different pieces of furniture or objects found in each room. Vocabulary You must include Vocabulary from Chapter 8, write 5 sentences in Spanish describing each room of your dream house, include at least 5 directions 5 descriptions, name and label items afuera (outside), include the following verbs: Ser, Estar, Tener, Poner, Hacer, Vivir, and Preferir include the word Hay(there is) and Ordinal Numbers (primero, segundo...) Description of presentation You must be ready to present to the classroom. You will speak in Spanish a minimum of two minutes by memory to describe your dream home. If you are making a video it must contain a tour of your dream house, narrated by you in Spanish.

Spanish 3 - Group Presentation
This rubric is designed for a Spanish group presentation performance assessment in which the students will be presenting a grammar concept from the entire semester. Students will create a presentation demonstrating their understanding of the grammar concept and grammar usage in addition to any previous knowledge they have. Students are being graded both individually and as a group.

Spanish Restaurant Menu
You will design a Spanish menu for a new restaurant with Spanish foods. You must give your restaurant a name (in Spanish) and create the menu entirely in Spanish. The menu should include at least three complete meals for each category on your menu, and a list of three or more beverages and three or more desserts. The menu should be visually pleasing with with easily identifiable headings/categories, and graphics/color photos. Menu must be typed in Spanish.

Mi familia
Student will create an album using pictures of their family on a poster board or in an album. The pictures need to be described with information provided in the rubric. It will include at least 6 family members and one (of course) can be a pet! Also, one picture and description can be you!
