Mi familia (Spanish I)
Student will create and present a family tree using pictures of their family on a poster board or PowerPoint presentation. The pictures need to be described with information provided in the rubric. It will include their family members and may include their pets. Also, one picture and description should be you! They will introduce themselves and describe the family members in their family tree in Spanish. If student lives with other relatives other than parents, show connection. If student does not live with family members, indicate their roles. PowerPoint will be posted to schoology.com.

The student will describe at least five other members of their family tree and themselves. (in Spanish, of course).

Mi Familia - a part of our Family Tree
Students will create a one-page illustration of their family tree, using pictures of their family and labeling family members as indicated by rubric (family label). Your family tree will include at least 4 family members and one (of course) can be a pet! Also, one picture and description will be of you! You will introduce yourself and describe all the members of your family tree, providing name and age to the class (in Spanish, of course).

Class Participation Grade
(20 POINTS - 4 points each section) Below is a chart that shows you exactly how your class participation grade will be determined. All students are expected to participate in class! I do understand that some students are shy and participate in ways other than class discussion. Forms of participation other than participating in class discussion (although this is a primary form of participation) include coming to me for extra help, giving other students feedback in class, consistent attendance, and being able to answer in-class ESL dialogue from both the teacher and other students.
