Educational Reflection Rubric
The Educational Reflection allow students the opportunity to think about their experiences and gather the learning from their experiences. Students explore situations and think about "the learning" that they got from their experiences. Through reflection, students explore problems and solutions encountered during their work, and connect their experiences to their learning goals. Reflections are an important part of the feedback loop between the student and their teacher. Therefore, sharing the learning with the teacher in a timely manner, allows the teacher to offer formative guidance through timely responses to the reflection. This feedback is an important part of student learning.

Metal Shop Assessment Rubric
Rubric use to assessment student process and performance completing a Metal shop project or task.

Picture Frame
Students will fabricate a picture frame. The base will be shaped and formed from either brass or aluminum sheet. The frame will be cut, bent, and polished from acrylic.

Pen Holder Base
Students will use the milling machine and surface grinder to square a block of steel, and then use brazing technology to deposit decorative brass weld beads. Students will add a pen holder attachment, preferably designed and manufactured by the student.
