A good reflection... 1. Is honest. 2. Answers the questions or responds to the statements. 3. Contains examples and details to support opinions and thoughts. 4. Students will tape themselves conducting a ten minute interview based upon their assigned case study with a fellow student. Students will complete a transcript and personal assessment of their demonstration of the skills in Chapters 1-3 of the text.

The students will be graded on one of three cultural awareness activities based upon their own responses to the RESPECTFUL model and complete a 3-4 page reflection paper written in response to their experience about personal values and beliefs related to diversity.

A one page summary and critique of an article concerning a current educational trend or issue. Students are required to read the article, summarize the key parts of the article as well as critique the article read.
