You will create a play based on a Revolution. You are going to create a play. Your play will be based one of the many revolutions that has taken place somewhere in the world (i.e. the American Revolution, the Mexican Reolution, the Boxer Rebellion.) Your play must explain what a revolution is, include the causes and consequences of the the revolution, include at least two key players (this may be kings, military leaders or revolutionary thinkers) and be at least 3 minutes long.

Students will create an ABC poster relevant to the American Revolutionary War. All words must pertain to this Historical Event.

This rubric is for a game project based on the American Revolution.

You are to write a Mathematical Rap, song, poem or story about prime factorization You must describe the Title of the process, i.e. "The Factorization Song." Then you must describe or relate the process with words. The definition should be included as well as specific numbers that are prime, composite and why. Students must use at least 5 numbers, specifically explaining why 3 of them are prime or composite. The song should be at least 30 seconds long. Every group must have a typed copy of the project to be turned in on the day the project is to be performed.

Students will work independently to create a time period appropriate newspaper explaining 4 different aspects of the American Revolution and Independence.

16.B.2b Students will be able to identify major causes of The American Revolution and describe the consequences of the revolution through the early national period, including roles of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.

The students are to create a first person journal of an American soldier during the American Revolution.

Students create letters for an ABC book on the American Revolution. Each letter must have an illustration, a paragraph defining the word, and an explanation about the importance to the American Revolution.

We have learned about several different battles in this Unit. You may choose a partner or work alone to research one of the battles and create a diorama of one of the battles mentioned in this Unit. I will display the completed dioramas in the classroom.

Group project where students name the four (4) types of sentences, naming the purpose for each type of sentence, listing ending punctuation, and giving an example of each type.
