This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Create a web site that uses the human interface design principles to design for both the computer and human factors. Incorporate graphics into your site.

Research the approved topic. Submit one 5-7 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 4 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

A short research based paper comparing and contrasting one ofthe following topics: telephones, televisions, mail delivery, or transportation.

Create a personal portfolio web site that includes examples of all of the work you completed this year. The site should include how your skills have grown through the year. Be creative and unique by using customized backgrounds instead of a template. Incorporate graphics, videos, and even animation into your site. The personal web sites will be linked off of the classroom web site so follow all prescribed rules and regulations concerning copyright infringement and inappropriate content.

The student will organize information by using a structure appropriate to formal reporting and use supporting evidence through use of investigation for the report.
