Create a one-month calendar page of your birthday month. Label it in Spanish with the name of the month, and the days of the week. Finally, label/ mark the calendar with Spanish holidays and "my birthday/mi cumpleaños".

Students will create an illustration of their family tree or a power point, using pictures of their family, clip art or drawing, labeling family members. Your family tree will include a minimum of 8 family members from 3 generations, including you. You will introduce yourself and describe all the members of your family tree, providing their name. You can share additional information such as their age (to practice numbers) or their favorite color (to practice colors).

Students will create a travel brochure for a country where Spanish is spoken. This should be a country students would like to visit with their family. The brochure can be written in English.

Expected behaviors in Spanish Class

Create a Potato Person of your choosing - soccer potato, dancer potato, easter bunny potato - you choose. Create a great background (scene) for your potato person. Label all body/face parts and include a key.

Create a Prayer Card - The image of Mary, Mother of Jesus on one side; and the prayer in Spanish on the other side.

Create a Bilingual Prayer Card - The image of Mary, Mother of Jesus on one side; and the prayer in both language on the other side.

Students are to participate in class effectively and follow directions while engaging in classroom activities.
