Students will have the opportunity to find real live circumstances to use their Spanish…socially, spiritually, or professionally. You will choose which main purpose to research and also show evidence of other overlapping elements. Journaling both written and video required. Formal research will be done on written in English MLA style. Journaling and personal summation of the experience will be completed in Spanish.

Doctor Visit Skit Peformed in Spanish Rubric
This rubric is designed for a Spanish II oral presentation in which students will be presenting a skit in Spanish. The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary of a visit to the doctor, and the inclusion of both current and previous grammar points covered. Students create a scenario with a medical situation that requires a visit to/from the doctor. The group is responsible for assigning its members the different characters, developing a dialogue and props or costume.

YOU TEACH A LESSON...Spanish IV Grammar
Develop a presentation to share the most important information about your topic to the class through an interactive, engaging presentation. You must include a power point presentation or a video. You must include graphic text as well as provide audio in Spanish. You may speak in English for reinforcement of concepts, but audio must be at least half Spanish. You will also have the class do some kind of reinforcement activity or game as well as take a 10 questions quiz designed by you. You must provide a key for the quiz questions.

Student will choose a food item to briefly research. This assignment will be submitted as a document to the Food/Culture Exploration Drop box. #1. Translate given questions. #2. Locate and write a recipe for food item grammatically correct in Spanish. #3. Answer 5 given questions in complete sentences in Spanish. #4. Cite at least one source using MLA style. #5. Include a full color & labeled map of the country of origin. #6. Include a picture of the food item at least a half page large. #7 . Bring in sample of food item to share and present information researched.
