Students will create a portfolio of material to include original work and self-evaluation. 1) Students will write an essay (2-4 pages) explaining what they learned about writing, what they learned about revision, what they learned about giving advice to peers, and what they learned about receiving advice from peers. This essay may serve as an introduction to the portfolio. 2) In the same document, students should organize various drafts of their original work from early draft to final revised version. 3) Students should gather peer reviews received and peer reviews written and include them in the portfolio 4) The portfolio itself should be thought of as a publication itself.
