This rubric is used to score the auditions of the musical auditions.

After seeing and creating as a class a “5 Senses” poem, the students will then write their own “5 Senses” poem about a Fall using each of the 5 senses correctly

A paragraph is a group of sentences supporting the topic sentence/main idea. This rubric will assess how well students develop the topic and support main ideas within a Graphic Organizer. Write one paragraph any subject have a topic sentence give at least three details that support your topic sentence and one concluding sentence. This is only a paragraph!!!

Information Texts: CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.3.2 Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly. CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.3.2a Introduce a topic and group related information together; include illustrations when useful to aiding comprehension. Students will create a graphic organizer to demonstrate knowledge of main idea and detail while using an expository text of "The Life and Times of an Ant". The main idea and details will be the focus of the graphic organizer and the supporting details will be evidence. The student will include at least five supporting details. Illustrations will be added to the graphic organizer and must connect to the main idea as well.

Student is to create a line of symmetry on a piece of paper using a mask. Students are to creatively decorate their mask using colored pencils, markers or any other artistic medium.

This is a rubric for a 4th grade lesson on using summarizing to create a postcard from a favorite part of a book.
