Can you show understanding of Properties and Materials by designing a boat that floats and carries at least 2 marbles?

Students will give a presentation on a saint of their choice. Objectives: 1) To define a saint as someone who strives to follow God's commandment to love him, ourselves, and others 2) To recognize saints as role models 3) To begin to develop life goals that reflect the teachings of Christ and emulate the Saints Students will dress up as their chosen saint on the day of their presentation.

The scenario we're exploring is: "If Santa were stuck in my chimney, I would..." The students will brainstorm various ideas to help Santa escape and then bring their chosen solution to life through a creative project.

Women's History Month is here! We will be engaging in a project to recognize the impact and accomplishments that women have made in American society and the world throughout history. For this project, choose 1 famous woman leader, inventor, or trailblazer. Your chosen individual can be a mathematician, scientist, historian, politician, musician, artist, actor, philosopher, etc. It can be someone from the past or someone who is making history now.

Create a collection of 100 items in a bottle or jar. Be creative, and think outside of rice and beans! Be prepared to present it to the class.
