Students must design a seven day meal plan for a patient who wants to lose one pound. It must consists of nutritious and fresh natural unprocessed foods, that will include one meal they will prepare FROM SCRATCH (so no hamburger helper or frozen family dinners) for themselves and their family. Student will write a 300 word summary of their meal plan and experience. Give a 2-3 minute presentation on their meal plan in class using Power Point or poster.

Student will create a poster to demonstrate his/her knowledge about an assigned human body system and a disease or disorder. Student will discuss all of the organs in the system and the functions of the body system. All components of the disease or disorder will be discussed. Students will give an oral presentation of the project, explain the content, answer questions on their system and disease/disorder, and provide feedback to their classmates regarding their presentations.
