The purpose of this assignment is to create an advertisement or presentation for a product that you create. Your advertisement must use all three rhetorical appeals (Ethos, Pathos, Logos) and include at least specific three rhetorical strategies from the list we studied (Bandwagon, Testimonial, Fear, Transfer, Loaded Words, Repetition, Name-Calling, Avante Garde Weasel Words, Magic Ingredients, Patriotism, Plain Folks, Snob Appeal, or Bribery).

Students will work in a small group to create and perform a scene using mime. They will be expected to demonstrate the use of story structure, character and several mime illusions during their performance. Each member is required to include 2 of these mime illusions each: opening and climbing out a window, opening and closing a door, going up and down stairs, pulling a rope, being pulled by a rope, wall, trapped in a box, climbing a ladder...other illusions, of course, may be included!
