Rubric for evaluating student presentations.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Create a board game that utilizes all learning vocabulary and concepts in Science. You must create a rules that explains how to play the game. The game board needs to be creative, with a game name, and all of the materials to play the game must be included. Questions must be printed by hand or typed. Your game board must be complete and ready for presentation and play time by May 27, 2016. Do not copy an existing commercial board game. Have fun!

Student uses the 6 steps for writing a good lab conclusion after performing the lab.

All bridges must be made out of popsicle sticks and white or wood glue. The bridge must span distance of 30 centimeters.

Course Description: Students will demonstrate their knowledge of reaseach and paragraph organization.

Pre-printed poster that is filled in & illustrated by student. Includes composer, instrument, era of music, basic music terms, note names on clefs, and personal tastes in music

Objective: Students will research how musical instruments make sounds and the four basic categories of musical instruments (string, wind, brass, and percussion). Students will construct and present a homemade musical instrument from recycled materials. They will be required to play a simple song on their instrument.
